Effective date: October 27, 2026
DogLog helps you keep track of your dog's care: meals, walks, medications, vet visits and more. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the DogLog mobile app (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
The App is operated by DogLog, LLC ("DogLog," "we," "us"). We do not sell your personal information. If you have questions, contact us at support@doglogapp.com.
Account information. You sign in to DogLog with Apple, Google or Facebook. When you do, that provider shares basic profile information with us, such as your name, email address and a unique account ID. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive a private relay address instead. We never receive your Apple, Google or Facebook password.
Information you add to the App. This includes your dog's profile (name, breed, birthday and similar details), care logs such as feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications and vet visits, notes, and photos you upload.
Shared dog profiles. If you invite family members or caregivers to a dog's profile, we store who has access so everyone you invite can view and add to that dog's logs.
Device and usage information. When you use the App, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, a device or app instance identifier, IP address, how you use App features, and crash and performance reports.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or payment card details.
We use the information we collect to:
Create and secure your account, and sign you in
Store and sync your dog's information across your devices and with the people you invite
Provide, maintain and fix the App, including diagnosing crashes
Understand how the App is used so we can improve features
Respond to your support requests and send important service messages
Track referrals to our affiliate partners (see below)
Comply with the law and protect DogLog, our users and others
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
People you invite. Family members or caregivers you add to a dog's profile can see that dog's information and logs, including photos and notes. You can remove someone's access at any time.
Service providers. We use trusted companies to host our data, provide analytics and report crashes. They process information only on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
Affiliate partners. The App includes links to products and services from partners. When you tap one of these links, you leave DogLog and the partner may set a cookie or tracking parameter showing that you came from DogLog, so we can receive credit for the referral. We do not share your name, email, your dog's information or any other details you enter in DogLog with partners. Anything you share with a partner directly is covered by that partner's privacy policy.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is required by law, or needed to protect the rights, property or safety of DogLog, our users or others.
Business transfers. If DogLog is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any new owner must continue to protect it as described in this policy.
With your consent. We will ask for your permission before sharing your information for any other reason.
The App relies on the following types of third-party services. Each handles information under its own privacy policy.

The App may also link to partner websites and apps. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and your dog's data from our active systems within [1] days. Copies in backups are removed on our normal backup cycle, within [1] days. We may keep limited information longer if the law requires it.
We protect your information with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you if required by law in the event of a breach.
Access and update. You can view and edit your profile, your dogs and your logs directly in the App.
Delete your account. You can delete your account and data at any time in either of these ways:
In the App, go to Settings and tap Delete my DogLog account.
Email support@doglogapp.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data. You can do this even if you no longer have the App installed.
Shared profiles. If you delete your account, your access to shared dog profiles is removed. Entries you added to a dog owned by someone else may remain visible to that owner unless you ask us to remove them.
Privacy rights. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, or object to certain uses. To make a request, email support@doglogapp.com. We will respond within the time required by law and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Sign-in providers. You can also manage what Apple, Google or Facebook shares with DogLog in the settings of those accounts.
DogLog is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know in the App or by email before they take effect. The effective date at the bottom shows when the policy was last updated.
